About the Film: "Changing Tides" centers around the lives of two individuals brought together by fate. Bea, a spirited young woman in her early 20s, works as a domestic carer and takes on a challenging new patient, Aiden, a man in his late 50s/early 60s struggling with alcoholism. Aiden's bitter demeanor and intimidating behavior prove to be a formidable challenge for Bea, who refuses to let him intimidate her. However, as the layers of Aiden's vulnerability come to light, the power dynamic between them begins to shift.
United by shared experiences and an unexpected camaraderie, Bea's unrelenting sarcasm breaks through Aiden's defenses. Bonding over dark humor and simple pleasures, they develop an unlikely friendship that prompts Aiden to take the courageous step of quitting alcohol.
